DAO directly serves students who are registered in Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS), and the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS).
Cross-Registered Harvard Undergraduate Students at a Harvard Professional School (Non-FAS)
If you are a Harvard undergraduate student who is registered with DAO and taking a class at one of Harvard’s graduate schools, contact dao@fas.harvard.edu to inform us. Your accommodation information will be shared with the appropriate Local Disability Coordinator who will work with you to determine reasonable accommodations in your graduate school class. Note that accommodations are assessed individually at each school.
Cross-Registered Harvard Undergraduate Students at MIT
If you are a Harvard undergraduate student registered with DAO for accommodations and cross-registered in a class at MIT, you will need register with MIT’s Disability and Access Services (DAS). Please email das-all@mit.edu and share that you are a Harvard student registered with DAO for accommodations taking a class at MIT. You should also copy dao@fas.harvard.edu so that we can share information on what accommodations you receive at Harvard.
Cross-Registered Harvard (Non-FAS) Graduate Students at FAS
If you are a student receiving accommodations in one of Harvard’s graduate schools and are taking a FAS course, please request that your local disability coordinator share your accommodation information with DAO at dao@fas.harvard.edu.
MIT Students Cross-Registered at FAS
If you are a MIT student enrolled in a FAS course as a cross-registered student, please ask the Disability and Access Services office to share your accommodation information with DAO at dao@fas.harvard.edu.
